I know, walking around in a sheer, thin silky yellow dress when it's freezing outside seem slightly terrifying. Even for Brunette's squad who walks around in sandals in the snow these days. Ps. #3 THINGS YOU NEED TO WEAR WITH YOUR YELLOW DRESS IN WINTER
So how to wear a yellow dress in winter then? By matching it with something soft and warm, of course. I mean there's no way you could walk around merely in a dress and pretty pumps this time of the year.
After all, it's freezing outside, and you definitely don't want to get cold now, just before your winter getaway, do you?
Still, it turns out that styling a yellow dress is not that simple at all. You can't wear it with you black coat, for example. Well unless you are from the Beehive. You know what I mean? Even so, not even Queen B would approve of that fashion faux pax.
A PASTEL WOOL COAT

And yes, you should wear a wool coat. Sure, a yellow dress like this would look great under the puffer coat (which is, by the way, one of thecoats that are in fashion this season) as well. But if you put on a double-breasted coat as I did ( click here to shop Max Mara double-breasted coat ), you will look even more fashionable.

OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
Another thing you should wear with a yellow dress in winter are the over the knee boots. Mine are from Stuart Weitzman , and you can shop them here .
Furthermore, wear thighs with super thick socks. Well, you can skip the socks if you wear suede OTK boots. You know you won't feel much cold in suede over the knee boots. Sure, I'm talking from my own feelings, but you can trust me on this. I'm the first to feel cold.
WINTER WARMERS
Gloves, mittens, a hat, a scarf… well, you can skip a scarf if you wear a bow tie dress. But you certainly shouldn't skip the hat and gloves. Ps. Go for a headband instead of the bell hat this time. You can shop a faux fur headband , one that looks just like mine, over here .
SOMETHING IN PINK
Style yellow dress with something pink. A pink bag is such a lovely addition to this winter outfit.
My bag comes from See by Chloe, and I have had it for years. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any close match. Still, this pink bag from Le Parmentier will look just perfect with a yellow dress in winter. And even more later in spring 2021.
